Standard Features

Every fence is constructed with concreted posts and galvanised nails. All capping is hand nailed and we remove all our rubbish from site.

Timbers Choices

• Treated pine - Treated to resist termites, borers and moisture. Cost effective and plentiful supply. Quality material available. Increases life expectancy, able to be painted or stained, and available across the whole product range.
• Hardwood - Limited quantity and quality of stock, reduced product range and life expectancy. Able to be painted or stained

Heights

• Garden fencing - Commonly 900mm - 1200mm tall
• Dividing fencing - Commonly 1.5 or 1.8m tall - Also available 2.1 or 2.4m tall (Neighbour / council consultation should be considered)

Closed Paling Fence

• This fence has a single layer of side by side palings.

Lapped Paling Fence

• The fence has 2 layers of palings. The first layer of palings are spaced approx 50mm apart.
• The second layer of palings are spaced over the gaps from the first layer giving an alternating look to the palings.
• This eliminates the gaps that appear as the timber shrinks as the palings overlap.

Lapped and Capped Fence

• This fence has the same alternating 2 layers of palings as the lapped paling fence, with the addition of capping being added to the top of the fence.
• This not only eliminates the gaps from the timber shrinkage, but also protects the top of the paling edges from weathering, while also giving a neat finished line tothe top of the fence.

Neighbour Friendly

• This fence has spaced palings on either side of the horizontal cross rail, (meaning one spaced layer of palings on your side of the cross rail, and another layer of spaced palings on the neighbours side of the cross rail.)
• This fence is able to be seen through. This fence can be constructed with or without the capping as above.

Acoustic Fencing

• This fence is 2 layers of side by side overlapping palings to assist in noise reduction. This fence can be constructed with or without the capping.

Retaining Walls

Retaining walls can be constructed using different materials to give varied appearances. These materials are available in a variety of sizes to suit your needs.

• Sleepers - Rectangular Boards for a flat wall finish or upright post.
• Winged Splits - A half round log with the edges trimmed. These are used for wall boards only.
• Rounds - These full round logs are used for posts only.
• (Other materials are available upon request)

Lattice

• Only available in treated pine, this product may be made in a diagonal (diamond) or square style, in either fine sawn or dressed material. These sheets are all made to order to suit your particular needs and can be framed to enhance the apperance. As we make the sheets to order, you don't need to pay for what is cut off to suit your job size.

Screening

• Also available in treated pine only, horizontal slatted screens are spaced horizontal boards generally used for added privacy, but can also be used as full fencing in your garden .
• They can be added to new or existing fences to increase the height and privacy in your yard, or as a stand alone feature.
